Grace Gives
Grace Gives is part of what our church does to support our local community. Throughout the year, we partner with several organizations in our city to help support the people they minister to and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have worked with Habitat for Humanity, Caritas, Friends for Life, and other organizations.
Current Opportunities to Serve
Food Drive - during the month of May
Last Fall we participated in the "Food for Families" program and our church provided over 3000 pounds of food for the local pantries. Each Sunday I invite you to bring food or cash donations to church to help with the Summer Food Drive sponsored by Channel 25 and Grande. 10 local food pantries will receive the donations.
Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry - Join us every Thursday from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm &/or the third Saturday of each month from 9:30am-noon (34th and Bosque).
Habitat For Humanity
We know you’re familiar with volunteering on the construction site, but HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE RESTORE? Volunteers are vital to our mission of raising money for Waco Habitat for Humanity and keeping building materials out of our landfills - the ReStore needs you! There are a number of ways you can help. Volunteering at the Habitat ReStore allows you to have fun and take part in the renewal of our community. The best part is that you choose your own schedule. Shifts are flexible and can fit even your busy schedule. We welcome group and individual volunteers
Please note- ReStore volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
