Grace Worship Team
Psalm 96 begins "Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth! Sing to the LORD, bless His name; tell of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised."
Leading worship is a privilege and responsibility that is an important role in the church. We have the opportunity each week to lead the people at Grace Community Church into the throne room of Heaven, covered by the blood of Christ, to worship our Creator and Master. This will only give us a small glimpse of what we will be doing for all eternity.
The music we sing at Grace is focused on the sovereignty and majesty of our God. We strive to select songs that are theologically accurate to what the Bible teaches. We sing a variety of old and new songs in a contemporary setting. We encourage our congregation to freely worship within the context of how the Bible teaches us to worship Almighty God.
The Grace worship team meets regularly for a time of practice and prayer. Our goal is to use the musical abilities God has given us to glorify Him. We are not professional musicians, but we strive to be the best we can be as we offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—which is our spiritual act of worship (Romans 12:1).
